VITA

Miles Berger, AIA, earned an undergraduate architectural degree with honors from the University of California at Berkeley, and a master's degree from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. He practiced architecture and urban design on the East Coast before returning to San Francisco in 1975. His 35 years of professional experience include work with Lawrence Halprin in urban design, as vice president at Backen, Arrigoni, and Ross Architects, as a partner in DiNapoli Berger Architects and founding principal of Berger Detmer Ennis, Inc. of San Francisco before practice as Miles Berger, AIA in Marin County California.  He has served as the chair of Tiburon, California's Design Review Board, Planning Commission, Mayor and currently serves on the Tiburon Town council as Vice Mayor.
